It’s the single thing you can control.

Why? To live a godly life for the Creator and His Son.

What? Learn truth, their ways, their goals, and how to fit in. Virtue. Wisdom. Steadfastness. Patience. Self-discipline. Forward looking. Humility. Faith. And so on.

How? Learn the word of God and Christ. Study, gather together, listen, observe, seek, ask, pray.

Examples that lead to self-mastery...

Titus 2:11-14. Deny self to grace and salvation.

As a citizen of God’s people, and of the global human race, consider how your path of self-mastery can also help and promote the good in others.

Use the power, love, and discipline that the Creator gave you. 2 Timothy 1:7.

Pursue a path of self-mastery, with all goodness and righteousness.

The virtuous life is the only truly prosperous life.
