What can we learn from creation?

Written by

Togetherness exceeds, outdoes, and far surpasses isolation!

Consider these beauties.

Flock Of Geese

Did you know that geese can fly up to 70% further together than they can alone?

That’s 70%!

That’s significant. Ponder it for a moment.

Geese Formation

When geese fly together, as each goose flaps its wings it provides additional lift, which reduces the air resistance for the one who is flying behind it.

When one of the geese drops out of the V formation, it quickly discovers that flying alone requires much more effort and energy. It then quickly returns to the formation to take advantage of the lifting power that comes from flying together.

Geese rotate the leadership of the V formation. The one who flies at the front of the formation expends the most energy because it breaks up the initial flow of air, which provides that additional lift for the geese who follow. Leading the V formation is a lot of effort, and the lead goose can eventually tire out. Then, another takes the lead.

Flock Of Geese2

When geese fly together, they honk at each other and often make loud honking sounds, which scientists believe is their way of communicating with each other during flight.

Geese help each other when one of them becomes ill or injured. When one of the geese drops out of formation, two others fall out of formation with it, and remain with it for protection from predators until it can either fly again or perishes.

Flock Of Geese3

How can we apply these lessons of the geese, and other parts of creation, to ourselves and our own Christ-like tribes?

Geese in Water

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12: Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up. Furthermore, if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.

Geese in Water2

1 Corinthians 12:1-31: The whole chapter on the use of spiritual gifts is excellent! Varieties of gifts exist in the flock of the Almighty Creator, whose Spirit they all come from. Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware…

Consider the ant.

Ants

Proverbs 6:6-11:
Go to the ant, O sluggard,
Observe her ways and be wise,
Which, having no chief,
Officer or ruler,
Prepares her food in the summer
And gathers her provision in the harvest.
How long will you lie down, O sluggard?
When will you arise from your sleep?
“A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to rest”—
Your poverty will come in like a vagabond
And your need like an armed man.

Contemplate the lilies.

Lilies

Matthew 6:26-34: Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these…

Take care with how and what you believe.

Encourage togetherness and overcome isolation.

Sheep3

Hebrews 3:12-14: Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end, while it is said, “Today if you hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts, as when they provoked Me.”

Encourage

Hebrews 10:24-25: And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Appreciate flocking together.

Flock Together

Ephesians 4:14-16: As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

Hello! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended
up losing months of hard work due to no backup. Do you have
    any solutions to prevent hackers?

Hey there! I know this is kinda off topic however , I'd figured I'd ask.

Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest writing a blog post or
vice-versa? My site goes over a lot of the same subjects as yours
and I believe we could greatly benefit from each other.
If you happen to be interested feel free to shoot me an e-mail.
I look forward to hearing from you! Terrific
    blog by the way!

I think that everything posted was actually very reasonable.
But, think on this, what if you composed a catchier title?

I am not suggesting your information isn't good., however what
if you added a title to possibly grab people's attention? I mean What can we learn from creation? - Bible Research is kinda boring.
You ought to glance at Yahoo's front page and watch
how they create post titles to grab people to open the links.

You might add a related video or a pic or two to get
people interested about what you've got to say.
In my opinion, it could bring your website a
    little bit more interesting.
